Sep Movaghati, Ph.D., P.E., is the Founder and President of ARKIA Engineering. He earned his Ph.D. in Structural Engineering in 2018 and has more than 10 years of professional experience in structural engineering, specializing in commercial, residential, industrial, and multifamily buildings. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Tennessee, California, and Washington. His experience includes structural design, forensic engineering, existing building assessments, seismic evaluations, and construction support, with expertise in wood, structural steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, and cold-formed steel systems. He is committed to delivering practical, code-compliant, and cost-effective structural solutions while working closely with architects, contractors, developers, and property owners throughout every stage of a project.
